Just across the city line from Palm Spring you will find the only full service country club at the west end of the Coachella Valley. With almost 1,500 homes in The Desert Princess and 675 condos it is easy to find the perfect fit for any buyer. A full slate of amenities are included with home ownership. From fitness facility, numerous sports courts, to club house, walking trails, 35 Pools and spas and numerous social groups. Golf is reasonable and you can pay as you play or purchase a membership. There is an onsite spa, golf course, dining room, snack bar and access to the facilities at the Double Tree Hotel on the grounds.
General Info: Desert Princess Country Club located in Cathedral City California is a large full service year round country club. There are multiple forms of homes available for sale in the country club. Condominium homes start with one bedroom two bath model and go up to a 3 Bedroom 2 bath model. The great thing about the condos is that they all have washers and dryers in them and a one car garage. There are also ample closets allowing you to designate a locked “owner's closet” in a situation where you are renting the unit out. Your personal things could be kept here.
Condos: are all located on the golf course or the greenbelt. They have detached one-car garages and a unique front patio design where one section could be golf cart storage. Another positive of the condos is that they have 10-foot ceilings making them seem more modern, light and airy than similar-aged properties.
VILLAS: The single-family homes at Desert Princess Country Club are referred to as Villas. On smaller lots, you can usually, but not always, fit in a private pool and spa. Villas at Desert Princess have been built in different stages throughout the years so there is a good selection of floorplans and sizes to choose from. There are even about 22 two-story Villas. but otherwise, they are all one level homes. Villas can be located on the golf course or greenbelt. The newest and final section of Villas is called Arroyos and it is built on a unique desert-scape greenbelt with 3.8 miles of walking trails. A real asset to the Desert Princess community, Arroyos offers slightly larger Villas than have ever been built before in the community. With three models ranging from 1851 to 2101 square feet. Land Types: Desert Princess Country club has a mixture of Fee land and Lease land properties. People frequently confuse the terms so let us explain. In short Fee comes from FEE SIMPLE meaning you can pay for the land and own it outright. Leasehold means that you are purchasing the right to LEASE the land from someone else. You are not buying the land in a leasehold scenario. While it gets a little more complex than this - a short explanation would be that you get more house on lease land as you are not paying for the land.
