As of the 23rd of October 2009 local calls will require the area code in order to go through. Be sure to re-program those cell phones. Alos don't forget that there are things like alarm systems and gate call boxes that will need to have the area code added. There is a new exchange in Palm Springs and you will start seeing local numbers assigned with 442- instead of 760.
