Humid Days Of Summer

We are experiencing a little humidity  --OK so we are experiencing a lot of humidity this week! Lots of hazy clouds but no rain so far. Our weather in Palm Springs is so consistently gorgeous it is interesting to have the change.

Lots  of new home deals out there.  I have spent quite a bit of time lately at the new home communities seeing what they have to offer.  To me location still rules and it is important that the unit you pick out has the right features and amenities. But if you ever wanted a new home in the Palm Springs Palm Desert area now is the time!  The deals and the inventory change so frequently that I can't keep it current on the site but let me know what you are looking for and I will help you find the right match.

Being in the right place at the right time helps. I have found several deals lately that were falling out of escrow.  Builders are always ready to wheel and deal on those units and even more deals can be had on those.

Some great concerts coming up Lyle Lovitt and KD Lang are set to make an appearance at the end of the month.  The casinos continue to expand.  The hotel at the Agua Caliente in Rancho Mirage is all framed and looks very impressive.

The dining options in the Desert are also expanding. Check out AZUL in downtown Palm Springs. It is in the building that was once the phone company. Great menu fun patio dining with swinging booths that glide back and forth.  Also Riccios has moved further south on Palm Canyon.  Great steaks and Seafood there.  They are located across from the new Port Lawrence community that is going in. Interesting live / work spaces featuring loft apartments as part of downtown Palm Springs for the very first time.  Later this year they will break ground on the Cameron at the corner of Mesquite and Palm Canyon with a similar concept.

About Michael Layton

With Michael, you have a friend in the business. After 16 years of working with Realtors in building my personal Real Estate portfolio, I was able to sell my business and retire to Palm Springs. I still know how it feels to be in the client's shoes because I have never stopped investing in Real Estate! Having bought and sold so many types of property personally, I am well positioned to help you maximize your Real Estate experience. Palm Springs offers a wonderful lifestyle and, with me, you have found someone who not only enjoys what he does, but, one who knows and loves where he lives. I can't wait to share the magic of the Desert with you.
