There are many Country Clubs in the valley. All have their own policies, fees and levels of membership.  The following  information is meant as a general guide to the Clubs and their approximate fees and services. Please contact us for exact up to date information.

Fees:  Fees are listed as Less than a certain amount - to simplify the process of tracking them.  Currently we are using $5,000 dollar incremants for membership fees and $250 Increments for HOA fees.

Located in stunning South Palm Desert, Ironwood Country Club offers gracious living and recreation set high above the valley floor tucked into the foothills of the Santa Rosa Mountain.

Condos in Ironwood start in the $200's and run to over $500.  Private homes Start in the high 400's and exceed $1,000,000 at the top end.  Memberships  for the  Golf Club start in the $50,000 range and go up from there.

Ironwood Country Club recently reconstructed its entire facilities with a 50,000 sq. ft. Clubhouse, with a private dining room, a new 10,000 sq ft. Sports Center and the new half-way café – Spikes at the turn.

The renowned Par 72 South Course plays up to 7200 yards and annually hosts a US Open qualifying round….but members have access to it every day. Unlike most private clubs, the South Course plays with no homes on the course. Our North Course rewards challenge play on its Par 70 6100 yards, including elevated tees and fairways.

Ironwood also offer the tennis player 14 courts including a stadium court for tournaments as well as fun.

Golf:  With a time-honored commitment to offer the ultimate golf experience, Ironwood Country Club offers two courses originally designed by Desmond Muirhead and Ted Robinson in consultation with Arnold Palmer. More recently, both courses have been redesigned by John Fought.

The South Course is a true championship test offering four sets of tees to allow golfers play from 5,608 to 7,256 yards. Annually, this courses serves as host to a US Open qualifying round, but is available to our members every day. Ranked as the 6th best course in the Coachella Valley, this course continues to be a favorite of avid golfers.

The North Course, though shorter in distance with playability from 5,245 to 6,065 yards, rewards the accurate player. The course is set in one of the most magnificent desert and mountain venues in the country.

We provide a wide variety of tennis activities during our in-season, which runs from October 1 through mid-May.

Men's Day meet every Tuesday morning from 9 till 10:30
Ladies Day meet every Wednesday morning from 9 til 10:30

Scheduled clinics are:

Stretch & Hit Class every Tuesday & Wednesday am 8:15 am to 9 am...just before Men's and Ladies' Days
This class is designed for injury prevention. Players get a brief warm-up followed by specific stretching for tennis then move to hitting all the tennis shots to get ready to play.

Friday Clinics - the first, second and third Friday of each month we will hold special clinics as noted:

1st Friday ...........1 hour cardio tennis class - 9 am to 10 am
2nd Friday...........1 hour ball machine clinic - 9 am to 10 am
3rd Friday............1 1/2 hour drill and play clinic - 9 am to 10:30 am

MISSION HILLS COUNTRY CLUB, Rancho Mirage, California

Rancho La Quinta is truly a breathtaking sight.  Behind the gates of this well located and beautiful club you will find two world class golf courses and endless views of the Santa Rosa Mountians from one of the many fine homes. It just doesn't get much better than this.  The classic early California style architecture blends perfectly with the awe inspiring setting creating a world of its own.

TWO championship courses.  One designed by Robert Trent Jones, JR and one by Jerry Pate, his first in California.  The Stunning club house is 23,000 Square feet of Luxury and complimetns the 7,000 square foot Racquet Club and fitness center.  Rancho la Quinta was home to the Skins game from 1996 to 1998. Rancho La Quinta is Private; Members and guests only. 

Memberships are $105,000 and up.

Desert Falls Country Club is located at the corner of Cook and Country Club in Palm Desert. One of the prettiest clubs in the Desert it is a great choice for vaction home ownership in the valley.  There are three entrance gates, security, state of the art clubhouse, generous benefits and expansive views of the golf course and the mountains. HOA fees are currently just under $500.

Over 1200 condos feature spacious floorplans, double garages and even a three bed 2.5 bath model.  There is alos a small portion of the club given over to private residences.  Many choices - perfect location and awesome views make Desert Falls a great value.

Golf:

Desert Falls Country Club was designed by  Ron Fream, in 1984 and is continually listed as one of the top ten courses in the desert. Golf Digest’s annual Best Places to Play gave Desert Falls 4 stars based on its course condition, rate of play, professional staff, and overall value in 2007.

Challenging yet fair, Desert Falls lends itself to virtually every level of play. Earning a 145 slope rating from the back tees, it is one of the top five highest slope rated courses in the desert. However, with five tees at almost every hole, no player should be intimidated. Boasting not one, but three signature holes including number 14’s 18,000 sq. ft. (3-putt) green (the largest west of the Rocky’s).

As a Member of Desert Falls Country Club, you also receive access to over 170 Private Golf Clubs throughout the US as part of the ClubCorp family.  Desert Falls Country Club membership is by Invitation Only.
